The ‘Lions Awareness Week’  is from the 11th to 19th October and it was agreed the club should hold an event in The Market Place at  Northleach to mark the week. This will take the form of a collection with suitable publicity

 

A quiz evening will be held at the Cotswold Hall on 24th October in aid of the Cotswold Hall and Lions Charities

 

Members will be manning the school car  park at  Bourton on  Saturday 30th August.

 

Donations were approved  for Northleach Junior Football Club, Cheltenham Open Door and the Gloucestershire Guitar Orchestra.

 

Socially, the members are meeting for a meal at  Great Rissington in September and a skittles evening in November.

 

Lion Keith Messenger has agreed to be the ‘Guiding Lion’ with a view to forming a new Lions club in Cirencester.

 

The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month for its business meeting. The venue is the Red Lion Inn in Northleach starting at 8pm.  All interested are welcome to attend. The next meeting is on September 9th for further  information telephone 0845 8339825
