At the recent business meeting of the Club it was agreed to make donations to the Friends of Cirenceter Memory Café which gives help to people with Alzheimers, the Bob Cook Memorial Games for the Disabled and the Lions International Appeal for the recent Chilean Earthquake Disaster.

Members helped to raise over £ 1,500 at Cirencester for Marie Curie Cancer Care and a further collection was made at Stow in March for the same Charity. On the 24th April, members will be supervising the public car parking at the school in Bourton to raise money for its charities.

The next Car Boot Sale at the Countrywide forecourt in Bourton will be held on Sunday 11th April at 9.30 am. Arrangements are in hand for the Swing Band Concert being held at Blades in Northleach on Friday 25th June.

Successful quiz night and a skittles evenings were held in March and the next social event will be an Italian evening at Blades April 30th.

The Cirencester branch of the Club meet at the Cirencester Football Club on the third Thursday of each month. All interested people are welcome.

The Northleach Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month for its business meeting the venue is the Red Lion Inn in Northleach at 8 pm. All interested are welcome to come.
