Last Saturday, 3rd October, the Club collected for charities in the Market Place in Northleach and on the 11th, there is a Lions Thanksgiving Service in Devizes to conclude the Lions Awareness Week activities.

At the last meeting donations were approved to Winston’s Wish, a Belarus Project and the Northleach Playgroup.

On the social front there is to be a Greek Evening at Blades in Northleach on Friday 30th October.

The Cirencester Branch had its first fundraising event in the form of a race meeting at the Stratton House Hotel. The Branch meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday at the Waggon & Horses Inn on London Road at 8 pm. The Northleach Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month for its business meeting. The venue is the Red Lion Inn in Northleach starting at 8pm. All interested are welcome to attend.
