The District Governor Lion Adrian Hicks paid his official visit to the Club’s November meeting and he presented the Lions Emblem Pin to Corina Sherman and Bernard Mortiboy on their successful induction to membership.

Recent fundraising events included a jumble sale and the Northleach Annual Charities stall which raised almost £400 for charity. On December 1st the Club is participating at the Victorian Evening in Bourton and there will be a street collection in Northleach on Saturday 16th December in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Research.

 

The Christmas collections this year are at Tesco in Stow on the 13th & 14th , the Co-op Supermarket in Bourton on the Water 19th and at Tesco at Kingsmeadow in Cirencester on the 23rd  December.  Donations made to Northleach Playgroup and Operation Christmas Child.  Socially, the outing to the Bridgewater Carnival in November was much enjoyed and the Christmas party for members is being held at Fosse Lodge on December 19th

 

The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month for its business meeting. The temporary venue is the Cotswold Hall in Northleach starting at 8pm.  All interested are welcome to attend. The next meeting is on December 12th for further information or telephone 0845 8339825
